Interactive app for novice gym users

Have you ever felt intimidated in your local gym? Unsure how to use the equipment properly and a bit too scared to ask?

How about an interactive app which has a step-by-step guide to using all the typical bits of gym equipment with clips to demonstrate. It could include tips on correct posture during lifting and notes about which muscle you should feel that you're working.

This is a great idea :) I love that we can go through the app in our own pace as well.
I once tried the trainer session but it is too expensive.
Moreover, I felt intimidated even by the personal trainer since I know nothing about these equipments.

I love this idea too! The little pictures on the equipment never really explain it and I think it's important to see what your posture should be like - it's so easy to get this wrong and that's when injuries happen.

This is a great idea, getting started at the gym is so intimidating - It would also be cool if it described progressions or suggested complementary exercises/machines, so you work things together into a routine... leg day anyone?

That's a nice idea Kirsty. Any other ways you think this app idea could be progressed?
