Ageing is real!!!

This is a very interesting video which puts AGIENG into perspective  - it can't get any real than this. Real eye opener.

Spread this if you can. We need to increase awareness, and the best thing we can do is educate ourselves that there are ways to slow down ageing. And by doing that we can enjoy more fulfilling, healthier lives.

I hope you enjoy this video!

@Catalina Romila Thanks for sharing. What do you mean by "spread the awareness"? How can someone slow down ageing, and what "ageing" means here?

Interesting Qs. What I mean by spreading the awareness is to repost this post or re-share the video, and or spread the word about how ageing is inescapable, at least for now. There are movements by groups of people who take ageing very seriously and believe that soon enough with the help of technology we will escape ageing and be on the road to 'eternal youth', this group as I'm sure some of you have heard call themselves 'Transhumanists'. The idea that human evolution is not done and technology will start merging with human body parts. An interesting article about this idea can be found here (https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/david-v...ism/index.html).

Ageing can be slowed down with the right approaches and body conditioning methods like exercise, stress-tolerance routines, skin care etc. And this is the most exciting part of it all!!! This concept ties in to the idea that ageing isn't pre-determined but plastic.

In this particular example, ageing is interpreted as the physiological changes that occur over time. These changes include skin thinness, hair loss, lobe elongation, collagen loss seen as wrinkles. And why this video is such powerful is that you get to see how these progress over time through the lifetime of the person recording it. It gives a realistic side to what may lie ahead and can be used to teach ourselves that we can to some degree control how we age, at least externally.

Thank you for your response, Catalina! Your post is very informative and I absolutely agree with you. I also would like a higher level of awareness among people about how they can stay healthier longer.
